Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love.

In honor of Great Grandmaster Alan Lee

This morning I was informed that Great Grandmaster Alan Lee has transitioned into the spirit world. Mr. Lee was the Founder of Alan Lee’s Kung Fu Wu Su Association where my first Kung fu instructor, Lyndon Cleghorne studied at in New York City. In addition, his instructor and mine, Grandmaster Harry Castel studied under Alan Lee and become one of his first top masters.

I have deep appreciation and gratitude for Mr Lee in bringing his style of Kung fu to America. Kung fu changed the trajectory of my life and has been a huge influence ever since. My book, Business Kung Fu is dedicated to Mr Cleghorne, Mr Castel and Mr Lee. My first exposure to qigong was also through this lineage.

I was deeply saddened by the news this morning of Mr Lee’s passing. I was fortunate enough to have met Mr Lee online through his invitation for me to join one of his senior classes a couple years ago. At the time I witnessed him teaching and demonstrating weapons at the age of 94. It was quite an amazing sight.

This picture of Mr Lee is from the Kung Fu Wu Su Temple in New York City from a recent visit I had just a couple months ago. Mr. Lee, may you travel well in the spirit world. Thank you for what you brought to us through your teachings. Great peace and blessings.

Recently, a new student of mine came in for her first in-person qigong session. It was a wonderful session and she left with a happy smile.

For those that are unfamiliar with qigong and what it can do…
- it’s an ancient energy practice originating from China
- it provides a mechanism for healing, transformation and optimization
- Energy sessions can be conducted in-person or remotely
- there are a multitude of qigong exercises and meditations providing all kinds of benefits for the mind, body and spirit

Leading Qigong sessions today in Newport Beach, California. It’s a beautiful day and it’s perfect to share this wonderful practice.

I’m getting ready for a remote qigong session happening in a few minutes. I think my client is in Chicago. So so even when clients go out of town, they can still get work done with me.

How is this possible? The easiest way to think of it is in terms of quantum mechanics. The principle of quantum entanglement is the best way I can explain it. It’s when to energetic particles for my connection that connection remains even if those particles are separated by vast distances. The impact on each is instant. Cool right?!

There is a difference between continuing to function and having the energy to perform at your best.

Sustained responsibility can gradually consume the very resources that support clear thinking, meaningful relationships and effective performance.

The Performance Reset offers a different approach.
In this free, live workshop, Dr. Craig Cooke will guide you through a practical qigong experience designed to release accumulated pressure, replenish your energy and help you return to what matters with greater presence.

You will leave with accessible techniques you can use in daily life, not another theory to understand or another demand to add to your schedule.

Thursday, August 20
5:00 p.m. Pacific / 8:00 p.m. Eastern

High performance requires the ability to activate but also the ability to reset.

When the mind remains engaged long after the immediate demand has passed, the body can stay in overdrive. Over time, that pattern can diminish energy, clarity and the ability to be fully present.

The Performance Reset is a free, live qigong experience created for professionals and high performers seeking a more sustainable way to meet pressure.

Dr. Craig Cooke will guide you through gentle, practical techniques for changing your internal state, releasing accumulated tension and restoring usable energy.

No previous qigong experience is necessary. The movements are accessible and can be adapted to your needs.

Your internal state influences how you think, communicate, decide and perform.

When pressure accumulates, working harder is not always the answer. Sometimes the most productive action is learning how to shift from tension and mental noise into a more grounded, energized state.

The Performance Reset is a free, live qigong experience for professionals and high performers who want a practical way to work with pressure without disconnecting from their ambition.

Led by Dr. Craig Cooke, this workshop will introduce accessible methods for restoring energy, improving clarity and cultivating calm under pressure.

You do not need special clothing, equipment or previous qigong experience. Simply bring a little room to move and a willingness to participate.

Success requires energy. So does sustaining it.

Many high-performing professionals know how to push forward, meet expectations and deliver results. Far fewer have learned how to deliberately recover from sustained pressure.

That is the purpose of The Performance Reset.

Join Dr. Craig Cooke for a free, live qigong experience designed to help professionals release accumulated tension, restore usable energy and return to their work and life with greater clarity.

During this practical workshop, you will experience accessible techniques that can be incorporated into your day, between demanding meetings, after an intense workout or whenever you need to shift your internal state.

No previous qigong experience is required.

The other day I provided qigong energy sessions to two high-tech executives. The gentleman on the left being a tech founder and is gifted with compassion to bring in one of his key executives for an energetic clearing and optimization. This is an outstanding example of leadership. What a gift it is to be of service in this way. 🙏🏼
